Vivek Dave brings over 19 years of experience in the Microfinance Industry and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with specialization in Agribusiness Management from Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management, Pune.
He began his career as an Area Manager with Bharat Financial Inclusion Limited (“BFIL”), gaining extensive field experience across multiple states. He was later elevated to Regional Manager during BFIL’s exponential growth phase, when the institution emerged as a global leader in microfinance. Subsequently, he transitioned to the Corporate Office, where he played a pivotal role in implementing Lean Six Sigma practices across the organization. He also spearheaded the design and deployment of an automated Credit Rule Engine — a pioneering initiative in the MFI industry. His most recent assignment was as Head – Risk Management, overseeing Enterprise Risk for BFIL (a subsidiary of IndusInd Bank) with an AUM of approximately ₹30,000 crore.
Mr. Dave has been associated with the Company since its inception and was appointed as Chief Operating Officer, where he proved to be a pivotal contributor to the organization’s growth. In recognition of his high-value contribution, strategic vision, and unwavering dedication, he has now been promoted to Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of the Company.
With nearly two decades of expertise, Vivek possesses a rare blend of field and head-office experience, excelling in both operational and strategic roles. His career reflects a consistent ability to deliver effective planning and execution, combining grassroots understanding with corporate-level governance and innovation. He continues to be a key asset, driving the Company’s vision and long-term growth trajectory.
